If tooth pain keeps you from sleeping, eating, working, or focusing, it is time to call. Severe or throbbing pain is your body’s way of saying something is wrong, and getting seen quickly at Peak Dentistry can stop the pain and prevent a small problem from becoming a big one.
Swelling in your gums, face, or jaw, a pimple-like bump on your gums, or a broken or knocked-out tooth should never be ignored. These signs can point to infection or serious damage, and prompt care helps protect your tooth, your health, and your smile.

If you notice bleeding that will not stop, a sudden change in your bite, or a tooth that feels loose, you should reach out right away. Quick treatment at Peak Dentistry lets us find the cause, calm things down, and give you a clear plan so you can get back to feeling like yourself again.
Dental problems rarely happen at convenient times. That is why we reserve time for same-day emergency appointments and offer extended hours on weekdays with Saturday availability.
When you call, we:
Our office is easy to find on W. 159th Street in the strip mall near Crumbl Cookie and Noodles & Co., with plenty of free parking so you can get in quickly.

In an emergency, our priorities are simple:
We use digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and CBCT 3D imaging when needed to see exactly what is happening. With CEREC technology, we can often repair a broken or cracked tooth with a same-day crown, so you are not stuck with a temporary.

Call us right away if you notice:
If you are not sure if it counts as an emergency, call anyway. We will help you decide what to do next.

Rinse gently with warm salt water and take over-the-counter pain medicine as directed. Do not put aspirin directly on your gums.
Hold it by the crown (top), not the root. Rinse gently if dirty. Try to place it back in the socket, or keep it in milk or your cheek. Get to us as soon as possible.
Rinse your mouth, and save any pieces you can find. Avoid chewing on that side.
Keep the area clean and avoid sticky or hard foods on that tooth. Bring the crown with you if you have it.

We designed our office to feel calm and welcoming. Settle in with wireless headphones, cozy blankets, and warm towels so you can relax during your visit.
We explain your treatment options and pricing in clear language. You always know what to expect, and we leave time for your questions at every visit.

You are never just a chart. We listen to your goals, consider your lifestyle and budget, and build a custom plan to help you feel confident about your smile.
From a child’s first visit to routine checkups for seniors, we care for every stage of life. Our gentle, friendly team makes dental visits a positive experience for your whole family.

In many cases, yes. With our CEREC system, we can often design and place a new crown in a single visit. Lost fillings can often be replaced the same day as well, depending on the condition of the tooth.
You are not alone. We see many patients who feel nervous, especially in pain. We take time to explain each step, use local anesthesia and laughing gas when appropriate, and offer comfort items to help you relax. Our focus is on relief, not judgment.
Yes. We treat kids, teens, and adults and understand that dental emergencies are especially stressful for families. We use a calm, reassuring approach and explain everything in child-friendly language so kids feel as safe as possible.
Our new patient emergency exam is $79 for the exam itself. If you need treatment the same day, we will give you a clear estimate before we begin. We accept many PPO insurance plans and offer payment options to help make urgent care more manageable.
A dental emergency is anything that involves strong pain, swelling, bleeding, trauma, or a problem that could cause lasting damage if you wait. This includes severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, abscesses, big chips or fractures, and uncontrolled bleeding. If you are unsure, call us and we will help you decide.
We offer extended hours on select weekdays and Saturday appointments so you do not have to miss as much work or school. When you call, we will match your urgency with the soonest available time.
