Just went for the 2nd time to have a couple small fillings done. Service was great to make sure I was comfortable. They’re very friendly there. I had a chipped front tooth for almost 30 years. No other dentist bothered to touch it. Dr. Djordjevic fixed it for me. I didn’t even ask him to. It was great.

I’m not someone who usually posts reviews, but Peak Dentistry truly deserves one. From the moment I walked in, the doctor and staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. As a new practice, they’ve clearly put a lot of care into creating a comfortable experience, and it shows. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt rushed. If you’re looking for a new dental practice in the Lockport area, I would absolutely recommend Peak Dentistry.

Fast Help When Something Hurts or Breaks

Dental problems rarely happen at convenient times. That is why we reserve time for same-day emergency appointments and offer extended hours on weekdays with Saturday availability.

When you call, we:

  • Ask what is happening and how long it has been going on
  • Help you decide if you need to come in right away
  • Work to see you as soon as possible

Our office is easy to find on W. 159th Street in the strip mall near Crumbl Cookie and Noodles & Co., with plenty of free parking so you can get in quickly.

What We Focus On During an Emergency Visit

In an emergency, our priorities are simple:

  1. Relieve pain and protect your tooth
  2. Explain what is wrong in clear terms
  3. Give you a short- and long-term plan you can afford and understand

We use digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and CBCT 3D imaging when needed to see exactly what is happening. With CEREC technology, we can often repair a broken or cracked tooth with a same-day crown, so you are not stuck with a temporary.

What To Do Before You Get to Our Office

Toothache or swelling

Rinse gently with warm salt water and take over-the-counter pain medicine as directed. Do not put aspirin directly on your gums.

Knocked-out tooth

Hold it by the crown (top), not the root. Rinse gently if dirty. Try to place it back in the socket, or keep it in milk or your cheek. Get to us as soon as possible.

Broken or chipped tooth

Rinse your mouth, and save any pieces you can find. Avoid chewing on that side.

Lost filling or crown

Keep the area clean and avoid sticky or hard foods on that tooth. Bring the crown with you if you have it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fix a broken crown or filling the same day?

In many cases, yes. With our CEREC system, we can often design and place a new crown in a single visit. Lost fillings can often be replaced the same day as well, depending on the condition of the tooth.

What if I am anxious about emergency treatment?

You are not alone. We see many patients who feel nervous, especially in pain. We take time to explain each step, use local anesthesia and laughing gas when appropriate, and offer comfort items to help you relax. Our focus is on relief, not judgment.

Can you see children for dental emergencies?

Yes. We treat kids, teens, and adults and understand that dental emergencies are especially stressful for families. We use a calm, reassuring approach and explain everything in child-friendly language so kids feel as safe as possible.

How much does an emergency visit cost?

Our new patient emergency exam is $79 for the exam itself. If you need treatment the same day, we will give you a clear estimate before we begin. We accept many PPO insurance plans and offer payment options to help make urgent care more manageable.

What counts as a dental emergency?

A dental emergency is anything that involves strong pain, swelling, bleeding, trauma, or a problem that could cause lasting damage if you wait. This includes severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, abscesses, big chips or fractures, and uncontrolled bleeding. If you are unsure, call us and we will help you decide.

What are your hours for emergency care?

We offer extended hours on select weekdays and Saturday appointments so you do not have to miss as much work or school. When you call, we will match your urgency with the soonest available time.

Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?

Yes. We reserve time for same-day emergencies whenever possible and will do our best to see you quickly. Call as early in the day as you can so we can prioritize your visit.
